Carol Lipman, Jewelry Designer

I'm Carol Lipman, a jewelry designer based out of Los Angeles. Starting my fashion accessories career in New York in the late 1980's, I traveled frequently to Taiwan for product development. There, I met a friend of Andy's who, many years later, connected the two of us for this design project to expand the product mix at Escama Studios into the costume jewelry category. For me the opportunity was a perfect blend of many things I already loved: international trade, designing with recycled materials, and the idea of bringing opportunity to women in developing nations to gain independence.
